I am absolutely thrilled to be part of Langley End Studio, and sharing this beautiful and creative space with two engaged and exciting artists.
My practice, loosely speaking, is based on the difficulties and vagaries of human communication. I use old books which I carve, burn, mark and fold, exploring visual metaphors along the way.
Why do I do this? A question commonly asked… to which I often simply state that I just have to. It is almost as essential to me as breathing. My art is my voice, and with it I attempt to shout loudly as well as whisper gently and every other expression in between.
A warm welcome awaits.
