The Wynd Gallery has just put up its 3rd exhibition since we opened in September, and as a member of this gallery co-operative, I am taking my turn at being on duty in the gallery for the day, which is a lovely opportunity to look at the new exhibition. If you are in the area why don’t you pop in and see for yourself – early Christmas present shopping? Here’s a taster:
Hertfordshire’s First Affordable Art Fair was launched with a Private View last night Friday 28th July.

Come and join us at the first Herts Affordable Art Fair, 28th – 30th July in the Sun Hotel, Hitchin, as part of Hitchin Arts Festival.
The Art Fair opens with a Private View on Friday 28th July in the evening, and is then open 10am – 5pm on Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sunday.
This new exhibition was borne to provide an opportunity for Herts Visual Arts members to showcase their work in North Herts.
Artists with different disciplines came together earlier this year with the idea of finding an affordable way to bring art to the general public.
I will be showing new work, so here is a sneak preview:
The first Herts Affordable Art Fair will be taking place 28th – 30th July in the Sun Hotel in Hitchin as part of the Hitchin Festival – Private View on the evening of Friday 28th July, and I have been selected as on of 30 local artists to exhibit work. See the poster below for more details, or click on the link to the HAAF Facebook event page. Come and visit us!

I have finally resurfaced after another great show at Turn the Page in the beautiful and vibrant city of Norwich. Great crowds, beautiful works, interesting and thought provoking conversations and a chance to catch up with friends.
Silence – Unspoken words
Now looking forward, it’s going to be a considerable time of change.
I begin a new adventure in September, studying for a second MA, this time in Arts Therapy. I have had an interest in this area for some considerable time and I am excited to be embarking on this new challenge. I am particularly looking forward to being back into formal learning, where I know I will thrive with the diversity of a rich educational experience.
